Gooding & Company is recognized the world over as a leading collector car auction house specializing in the finest antique, classic, sports and racing cars with annual auctions in prestigious venues such as Pebble Beach, Scottsdale and Amelia Island. Gooding & Company realized exceptional auction results in 2011 with 37 world records, including the venerable records for a car sold at auction, the 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Prototype at $16.39 million, and for an American car sold at auction, The Whittell Coupe, a bespoke 1931 Duesenberg Model J at $10.34 million.

What has become one of the most highly anticipated events of Scottsdale Auction Week, Gooding & Company’s annual Friday and Saturday auctions reached new heights in 2011 with more than $34.98 million in overall sales and the top-selling car of the week for the fourth year in a row, the 2009 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at $2.09 million.

The 2012 auction will be held January 20-21 at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The cost for admission is $30. Catalogues cost $80 and admit two to the viewing and auction.
