Experience a prehistoric Hohokam Indian ruin. Outdoors you can explore a 2/3 mile (1km) interpretive trail featuring the archaeological site and walk through the Hohokam Houses exhibit with reconstructed homes. Inside the Land and the People exhibit tells the story of the ancient Hohokam. The changing gallery showcases exhibits on topics such as archaeology, southwestern cultures, and contemporary American Indian arts. Let your children discover the excitement of archaeology in our hands-on exhibit: Explore Archaeology. Exciting workshops, tours and events are available year round. The Museum Store features authentic Indian arts, books on the Southwest, and other unique items.
