We specialize in guiding groups interested in art and cultures in the American Southwest with an emphasis on cultural immersion into a variety of diverse American Indian cultures. We offer the following adventures: 1. The Art and Culture of the Hopi people, who have lived in Arizona for over 1200 years in the Pueblo Villages of Old Oriabi and Walpi. 2.The Navajo People, who have the largest reservation in the U.S., covering large portions of Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado, who’ve been living in the American Southwest for over 800 years. 3. The Kaibab - Paiute Tribe who live on the Arizona Strip, which is the land north of the Grand Canyon to the Utah Border in a vast and beautiful canyon land. 4. The Apache Tribal People of Eastern Arizona and Western New Mexico, the ancestors of Cochise and Geronimo. 5. We also work with groups interested in European American cultural history and immersion such as the history and art of cowboy culture past and present, Spanish mission history arts and culture or boom towns and mining cultures of the 19th and 20th centuries. 6. We can customize a tour just for your group or organization; we work closely with several nationally recognized museums and historical societies, leading tours for their member organizations. 7. We produce a photo-workshop with a variety of world famous photographers such as Jay Dusard or Gary Johnson as your instructors or writing workshops with nationally known authors such as Peter Aleshire, former editor of Arizona Highways Magazine.
