BRIO Tuscan Grille, a BRAVO! Development Incorporated concept, is located at the cross streets of Scottsdale Road and Greenway-Hayden Loop in Scottsdale Quarter retail and entertainment district. The 7,880-square-foot restaurant is a sumptuous array of drapery, porticos, woodwork and old world-inspired architectural elements. The open dining room seats 260 and features an exhibition-style kitchen. For casual outdoor dining, a patio directly off the bar provides lounge and tabled seating, while the more formal al fresco-style patio off the dining room showcases a double-sided fireplace, covered seating and such amenities as heating and misting systems. Two private dining rooms seats up to 40 people and can be broken into three smaller arrangements with separate entryways. BRIO serves lunch, dinner and unique weekend Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. BRIO kicks up the excitement weekdays by offering specially-priced rotation of three different lunch entrees for just $7.95 each; a $2.95 Tuscan Tasters Bar menu, available Monday- Friday from 3pm-6pm and 9-Close; and two dollars off an array of martinis every Wednesday. The average check per person is $15 for lunch and $24 for dinner. Menu selections include: Tuscan Grilled Pork Chops, Chicken “Under the Brick”, Gorgonzola Crusted Bistecca, Roasted Chicken & Tomato Flatbread, Lasagna Bolognese Al Forno, Gorgonzola Lamb Chops, Wood-Grilled Salmon Salad, Pasta BRIO, Beef Carpaccio, BRIO Crab & Shrimp Cakes, Sliced Steak Bruschetta, Calamari Fritto Misto and Dolchino Sampler. BRIO will be open seven days a week: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant offers a home and office catering menu for special events and business occasions. BRIO (meaning “lively” or “full of life”) is a casual, white-tablecloth restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, “Tuscan Grille” is descriptive in the menu that features wood-grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops and seafood, similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany.
