The Arabian Horse Network, known on the web as ArabHorse.com, serves the Arabian horse industry both nationally and internationally with innovative web marketing solutions, website design and creative promotions of the breed and the lifestyle associated with owning Arabians. Founders Scott Bailey and David Cains have been breeding Arabians since 1995 and relocated to the Valley about six years ago. In June of 1996 they launched what has become the most successful Arabian marketing network on the internet, ArabHorse.com.
Based in Scottsdale, the advanced technology firm designs and manages eye-catching websites that emphasize the living art beauty of Arabians for some 250 farms. The company maintains the industry’s largest opt-in email database of over 47,000 active addresses for Arabian horse enthusiasts, industry professionals and support vendors. The news conduit produced by active email marketing to this base allows recipients stay abreast of the most current information on horse shows and trade events, sales opportunities, breeding, vendor products and services, horse properties, fine art, equine jewelry and clothing, and real-time information from the industry leaders in breeding and training Arabian horses.
Three years ago in association with the Arabian Horse Breeders Alliance, The Arabian Horse Network sponsored a New Year’s Arabian Farm Tour in Scottsdale for area residents and out-of-town visitors. Prestigious local Arabian horse farms staged special presentations and open barns which illustrated their well deserved reputations for throwing great parties. Public response to the Tour events was overwhelming the first year and the program envisions the Tour as a major annual event for Scottsdale and local Arabian farms.
Scottsdale is recognized as the World Capital of the Arabian horse and many of the industry’s most famous farms are located here. The Farm Tour event offers the general public a free-of-charge opportunity to visit farms, see and touch the beautiful horses and get acquainted with many prominent Arabian people. A great entertainment opportunity for Holiday visitors, participating farms stage open barns complete with refreshments or a wine tasting along with informal showing of horses and a lot of fun and camaraderie. People are welcome to attend any or all Tour events at no charge and because most farms specialize in a specific discipline, such as halter handling, English training or youth lessons, the presentations are very different from farm to farm.
Complete Tour schedules and details can be found at www.ArabHorse.com, under Scottsdale Farm Tours. Information includes a list of participating farm locations, event times and presentation descriptions as well as links to those individual farm websites. A downloadable flier complete with location maps is also available.
