Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for membership, your business must be tourism or hospitality related, demonstrate that it provides that product or service as part of its regular offerings, and meet the following conditions:

  • Businesses in the following categories must have Scottsdale or Paradise Valley addresses: Accommodations (except in the Statewide subcategory); Spas.
  • Although golf courses throughout Maricopa County are eligible to be members, golf courses associated with hotels and resorts that are not eligible for membership are also excluded from becoming members.
  • The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Sedona, Flagstaff and Grand Canyon tourism and hospitality related businesses are eligible to join, pending Scottsdale CVB invitation and approval.
  • Maricopa County businesses in the following categories are eligible to join: Allied; Arts & Culture; Attractions & Adventures; Convention & Group Services; Dining: Nightlife; Golf; Publications, Media & Maps; Shopping; Transportation.
  • Statewide businesses in the following categories are eligible to join: Allied; Associate; and Publications, Media, & Maps. The following subcategories are eligible to join: Air Tours; General Attractions, Group Adventures; and Hotels & Resorts (Sedona, Flagstaff, and Grand Canyon areas.), Jeep, Hummer & ATV Tours & Rentals; Train Rides & Excursions.

The Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau reserves the right to enter into agreements and do business with any company, business and/or person, member or non-member, at the Bureau’s discretion. The Bureau reserves the right to refuse to enter into, and/or renew, and/or terminate Bureau membership agreements with companies at its sole discretion.
